CASPER -- A gathering of family and friends of Zadah Gray, 90, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, at Newcomer Family Funeral Home.
She died Nov. 24, 2007, at Poplar Living Center after a short battle with cancer.
She was born May 18, 1917, in Chadron, Neb., the daughter of Jack Carey and Edith (Brackett) Carey.
She graduated from Natrona County High School in 1934 and worked as a bookkeeper for the Building and Trades Union.
She married Roy Gray in Casper and together they owned and operated Vic's Tire and Battery.
She was a member of Casper Credit Women.
She and her husband had horses and were members of the Round Up Club and rode in several of the Central Wyoming Fair Parades.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Rosalie Gray Barnes and two step-grandsons, Roy and Raymond Barnes; Casper nephews, David Cook, Chris Cook and Dale Cook and their wives and many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a sister, Mary Ellen Cook.
