Wilma Dee Forster, 97 of Casper passed away December 1, 2012 at Garden Square Assisted Living.
Wilma Dee was born January 18, 1915 in Villisca, Iowa. She earned her Teaching Degree at Whitewater, Wisconsin State Teachers College.
She married George K. Forster January 11, 1936 in Casper, WY where they lived and raised three children.
Wilma Dee was a member of the First Christian Church and was very active in Women's Fellowship and Elder Care Advocates. She also was active in Boots and Spurs Horse Club in her younger years, and she belonged to the Round up Club where the group would open the rodeo, while square dancing on horse back.
Wilma Dee loved to quilt by hand and made many beautiful quilts for her family and friends. She also spent many hours knitting afghans and baby items for her friends and family.
Wilma Dee was preceded in death by her parents, brother, husband George and son Neal.
Wilma Dee is survived by her daughter Carole Storer, son Alan L. Forster (Sharon) and Daughter-in-Law Gerradean Forster. Nine Grandchildren, Gary Forster, Cindy Pollock, Bill Pollock, Jim Forster, Vicki Beckfield, Mike Shelton, Danean Wisley, Deidra Forster and Dawn Gebhart. 15 Great Grandchildren and 17 Great Great Grand Children.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 15, 2012 at The First Christian Church 520 CY Ave. Casper, WY.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
