William G. Nutting

William (Bill) G. Nutting passed away January 11 at Shepard of the Valley, he was 82 years old.

Bill came to Casper August 2014, Bill made so many friends. His friends from Garden Square, Shepard of the Valley and Wyoming Medical Center will not soon forget Bill's smile and his eagerness to please.

Bill was born in Columbus, Montana in 1932 to Arthur and Mae Nutting. He was the youngest of seven children. Bill was a sergeant in the Army in the Korean War and his service impacted him the rest of his life.

Bill came home to Billings and became the best heavy equipment operator in Billings. He married twice. He married Carol H. Lanier and had two daughters Pam Terpening (Loren) and Annie Krucheck (Mike). Later he married Rosemary Horner and adopted her four children, Mike, Belinda, Sam and Glen.

He enjoyed life, he worked hard and enjoyed many hobbies such as fishing, boating, wood crafts, rock hunting and rock tumbling. He made necklaces, jewelry boxes and miniature stage coaches. Some of his wood work is on display at the Western Heritage Center in Billings, Montana.

Bill will be bringing his big smile to his loved one's who have passed before him. He will be sorely missed here on earth. Donations may be made in Bill's name to the Casper Humane Society
