Life History:
The family moved to Wyoming when Bill was 5 years old. He graduated from Egbert High School. He join the United States Navy during WWII and was on the USS Killen in Tokyo Bay at the time of the Japanese surrender. He married Jean Bomhoff on December 3, 1949. He worked as a salesman for Wortham Machinery which later became Wyoming Machinery Company for many years. He worked out of Sheridan, Cheyenne, and Casper. He later moved to Julesburg Colorado and the operated the Huskies Truck Stop, before returning to Casper.
