William H. Bostedo
June 21, 1921 — January 24, 2019
William H. Bostedo, 97, passed away at his daughter's home in Casper, Wyoming on Thursday, January 24, 2019.
He was born in Marcella, NJ and lived there all his life until the last year and half at which time he lived with his daughter in Casper, Wyoming.
William was married to the late Alice M. Bostedo (Thiessen).
He served in the Army during WWII stationed in North Africa.
He worked at various jobs during his life retiring in 1991 after 40 ½ years from the City of Newark Water Dept. as Assistant Superintendent of Charlotteburg Water Treatment Plant. William enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and watching the birds outside.
He is survived by his 5 children: William H. Bostedo Jr. of Bethalto, IL; Harry Bostedo of Marcella, NJ; Raymond Bostedo of Stanhope, NJ; Virginia Wall of Casper, WY and Robert Bostedo of Columbia, NJ. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Alice M. Bostedo (Thiessen); his parents; a sister; a brother and two grandchildren.
His ashes will be buried next to his loving wife in Marcella Union Cemetery, Marcella, NJ at a later date.
