William A. Mills, Sr.

William A. Mills, Sr., 92, of Casper, passed away on February 8, 2009, at Poplar Living Center. He was born on June 4, 1916, in Bravo, Michigan, to Lewis C. and Frances (Garton) Mills. On June 23, 1940, he married Goldyn Hills.
William was a 1934 graduate of Natrona County High School and had been a rancher in Wyoming all his life. He enjoyed fishing and water skiing, and was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Wyoming Stock Growers, Wyoming Woolgrowers, and the Casper Water Ski Club.
Survivors include: sisters, Kathryn Mills of Casper, Anabelle Hills of Loma Linda, CA, Alyce Fund of Grand Terrace, CA, and Madalyn Lathrop of Riverside, CA; son, William Jr.; daughter, Linda; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at 10:00am at Highland Cemetery, with a memorial service to follow at 11:00am at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, with Gordon Henderson and Weldon Treat officiating.
Memorials may be given to the charity of donor's choice. Newcomer Funeral Home, Casper, is in charge of arrangements.
