Wendell accepted The Lord as his savior and was Baptized several months before his passing away. He loved The Lord with all his heart and knew that earth was no longer his home but that he was only passing through.
Wendell loved his earthly friends and family with so much heart and soul that when his nephew's James and Robert moved to Wyoming he followed them there to be close with them and their family to continue the close relationships and bonds he had with his great nieces and nephews, he was even present for the birth of his great niece, Dixie. His family was his heart here on earth. His love for his sister Celia, great nieces and nephews; Keirstyn, Hunter, Dixie, and James was a love beyond measure or boundaries.
Immediately after Wendell passed away his soul was ushered into Heaven by Angels and he was immediately in the presence of God. Wendell was participating in the most magnificent worship with Angels and believers before the family throne of God and Jesus Christ. Wendell was also aware of some degree of activity here on earth and he was able to recognized and communicate with his family that had preceded him into Heaven. Isn't that so comforting to hear.
We morn for his loss but let us rejoice that he is in God's peace and light and love. After all, that is what Wendell knew all along as a believer in God and Jesus Christ, the same love he had all along for all his family and friends. Rest easy Wendell.
Love you always..
