Buck LeGrande
At his request, there will be no services for Buck LeGrande, age 75. There will be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate Buck's life at The Eagles Club from 1pm until 3pm Thursday April 10, 2008. He died April 6, 2008 at Wyoming Medical Center.
W.B.(Buck) LeGrande was born in Meridian, OK on August 20, 1932. Before graduating High School he joined the Oklahoma National Guard. His unit was called to active duty and he served during the Korean conflict. He came to Casper in 1952 and worked in construction and later for Tuboscope. In 1955, he married Pat Herden and went to work at Texaco refinery in 1956 where he stayed until the refinery was closed in 1982. He was self-employed until his retirement in 1997. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and taught his son's and daughters about those wonderful pastimes. He also enjoyed going to auctions.
He is survived by his Wife: Pat and 4 Children, Julie Kinder of Crawford, Colorado, Mark LeGrande of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Jamie Stebbins of Casper, Wyoming and Mike LeGrande also of Casper.
6 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, 3 Brothers, Royston of Tampa, Florida, Ralph of Guthrie, Oklahoma and Sam of Edmond, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth a sister, Marion and his parents.
