Wayne R. "Yogi" Reutner, 76, of Casper, passed away April 17, 2010 .
Yogi was born Jan. 14, 1934 in Amboy, IL, the son of Jacob and Fern Wade Reutner. He was united in marriage to Christina Sallee Oct. 10, 1959 in Freeport, IL. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He owned and operated Reutner Construction Company in Newcastle, WY for 31 years. Mr. and Mrs. Reutner moved to Casper in 2001 after his retirement. He was a member of the VFW Post 2516, Newcastle, WY. and he was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed the out of doors, especially watching the elk. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Chris, two daughters, Venetta Mitich and her husband Doug of Greeley, CO, Traci Blom and her husband Josh of Casper, WY, a son, Brian Reutner and his wife Nicole of Mills, WY. There are seven grandchildren, Nicholas Mitich and his wife Rachael, Nathan Mitich and his wife Jennifer, Shana Baird and her husband Pat, Tristin Reutner, Taliah, Tamryn and Josiah Blom and five great grandchildren, Zach, Ben and Thomas Mitich, Eden and Elia Baird. Also surviving are four brothers Richard, Russell, Charles and Curtis, five sisters, Nancy Reutner, Christine Kraft, Susan Lincoln, Mae Haas and JoAnn Wade. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Elvia Troxell and Sara Gustin.
Memorial services will be held July 10, 2010 at the Family reunion in Glendo, WY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Weston County Senior Service Center, 627 Pine, Newcastle, WY 82701.
