CASPER -- Funeral services for Walter Clay Jensen, 82, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Fr. Kevin Koch officiating. Burial will take place in Hot Springs, S.D.
He died Sept. 30, 2007, at his home.
He was born June 5, 1925, in Hot Springs, S.D., the son of Henry Jensen and Bernice Snyder. He was raised and went to school in Hot Springs, S.D.
He joined the Army in 1942 and worked as an engineer building bridges in Korea until his discharge in 1946.
He worked for Continental (Conoco) Oil traveling all over the United States and retired in 1986.
He enjoyed leather crafts, worked well with wood, staying at home with his family, and he always cooked Thanksgiving dinner:
He will be truly missed by all of the lives he touched..
Survivors include two sons, Bruce Jensen, Evansville and Clayton Jensen and his wife of Casper; three daughters, Monica Vega, Casper, Tresa Moralez, Mesa, Ariz., and Debra Lucero, and husband, Ogden, Utah; three sisters and two brothers; 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and one brother.
