Pastor Walter C. Lacy passed away peacefully on July 11th, 2010 in Casper, WY. He was born March 19th, 1929 near Springfield, CO the son of Frank and Alice (Thompson) Lacy. He married his sweetheart, Alice Grover in 1949 and they were married for 61 years. He received Christ as his Savior when he was 22 years old and was called to the ministry immediately after. He pastored churches in Montana, New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming.

He is survived by his wife Alice, his 2 children, John (Edette) Lacy and Doris (Ernie) Collins, brothers Ronald and Wayne Lacy, sisters Dorothy Cooper and Mary DeBusk and 8 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents, brother Harold, and great grandchild, Evan.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 17th at Calvary Baptist Church in Casper, WY and at 10:00am on Saturday, July 17th at First Baptist Church in Springfield, CO. Burial will be at Springfield Cemetery.
