CASPER -- Funeral services for Virginia Peirce, 72, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at Newcomer Family Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Rush officiating.

She died Oct. 3, 2007, at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center.

She was born March 26, 1935, in Denver, the daughter of Fred Ball and Irene Urban.

She was a loving mother and grandmother, loved to do crafts including embroidering tea towels, crochet blankets and needlepoint. She also loved to call bingo at Park Place.

She was very generous and would give you the shirt off her back.

Survivors include three sons and their wives, Michael Spurlin of El Monte, Calif., and William Dean Spurlin and Mark Peterson, all of Casper; two daughters and their husbands, Terry Regan of Aurora, Colo., and Susan Shaw of Casper; two sisters, Shirley Hawkins of Phoenix, Ariz., and Lucille Magnuson of Wendover, Nev.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Fred K. Ball

Newcomer Family Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
