Virginia (Ginny) Sybrant was born in Enid, Oklahoma, April 25, 1942 to Emily (Hobbs) and Clyde D. Reynolds. She spent her youth on the Reynolds farm south of Pond Creek, Oklahoma. She attended schools there, graduating in 1960. Virginia attended Oklahoma State University studying interior design. The encouragement of her employer in Pond Creek, Dr. Brown D.D.S., led her to enroll at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry School of Dental Hygiene. It was there she met her future husband. She married Roger Sybrant in June of 1963 and the two served as head residents of a co-ed dormitory. The couple moved to Casper in 1964 after graduation. They established a dental practice at 843 S. Center and practiced for forty four years. She served as office manager for many years. The couple had two sons, Scott D. Sybrant and Grant W. Sybrant (Nicole) and two grandchildren Brayden Sybrant and Brynn Sybrant. She is survived by a brother, David Reynolds (Glenda) of Nederland, Texas. She has numerous nieces and nephews.
Virginia was a member of Daughters of the Nile, Zilah Club and D.A.R. Virginia loved to cook and her meals were always praised by those attending. She was a gourmet cook and made her guests at dinner parties always at ease. She lived the "Golden Rule". She will be greatly missed by her soul mate of fifty two years and all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life for Virginia will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 a.m. with inurnment following at Highland Cemetery. A reception will be held after inurnment at the Shrine Club beginning at 1:00 p.m. Memorials in her name may be made to the Casper Shrine Club Travel Fund for Shrine Patients.
