Vi, or as she liked to be called, Gigi, passed away on November 10th, 2015 at Memorial Hospital of Converse County in Douglas, Wyoming.
She was born on August 1st, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. At just 17, she married Henry Szymanski, the love of her life. While enjoying their life together in Michigan, they went on to have five children.
In 1973, Vi, Henry, and their youngest son moved to Bradenton, Florida. Over the years in Florida, Vi spent most of her free time making and painting ceramics and just enjoying life with family and friends. She prided herself in her great cooking and baking skills, but her biggest pride and joy was her family. She loved sharing stories and accomplishments of her family with anyone who cared to listen.
Shortly after Henry passed in 1999, Vi moved back to Michigan to be closer to most of her family. She lived there, enjoying the company of friends and family until 2008, when she decided to make Glenrock, Wyoming her home. Her favorite part of the day was visiting the Senior Center for lunch. She lived in Glenrock with her son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter until her recent passing.
