Memorial services will be held for Vicki Lynn Schall, 56, at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral home in Casper, WY. Vicki passed away July 1, 2014 at her home in Mills, WY. She was born May 2, 1958 in Topeka, Kansas to Bill and Patsy Hanson where she grew up. When she was 17, she moved with her parents to Pocatello, Idaho. In 1985 she married Mike Schall, 51, together they had three children, Rebecca Ludwig, 32, Jamie Schall, 26, and Cody Schall, 22. Mikes job took the family to various towns in Wyoming where Vicki stayed home to raise her family. They lived in Farson, WY for 18 years before moving to Alcova then to Mills.
Vicki loved her family more than life itself. Vicki loved rock hounding and gold prospecting with her husband Mike. Her passions included painting, scrapbooking, camping, the mountains, fishing, enjoying the outdoors, girl's weekends with her daughters. She loved looking through the hundreds of cook books that she owned. She loved cooking for her family and spending holidays with her family. Most of all she absolutely loved spoiling her 3 grandchildren, Billy,12, Jesse, 9, and Hailey, 4.
Vicki will be greatly missed by husband, Mike Schall of Mills; daughter, Rebecca and her husband Ty; their 3 children Billy, Jesse and Hailey Ludwig all of Rock Springs; daughter, Jamie Schall of Mills; son Cody Schall of Rock Springs; two brother-in-laws, Gary Schall, Todd and his wife Paulette Schall; sister-in-law, Cathy and her son, Brandon Alldrege; nephew, Lance, his wife, Kristy and daughter, Addy Schall; nephew, Skyler Schall; father-in-law, Jerry Schall all of Pocatello, Idaho; one niece, Brandy Dewar and son, Corbin of Mountain View; and her cousin, Shirley Colgrove of Topeka, Kansas.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Patsy Hanson; mother-in-law Pat Schall; maternal grandparents, Frank and Lettie Colgrove; paternal grandparents, Ernest and Nellie Hanson; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Vicki's beautiful soul was filled with love, compassion, talent and a fondness to inspire those around her to reach for the stars. Her radiant spirit will be carried on by those who love her. She was an extraordinary wife, momma, nana and friend to everyone she knew. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Until we meet again!
