VETA JO McCULLY

Veta Jo McCully passed away and went to be with the Lord, May 3, 2010 at home after a long and hard fought battle with Multiple Myeloma and Breast Cancer. A celebration of her life was held May 7, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home with Chaplin Royce Brown of Central Wyoming Hospice & Transitions officiating. She loved her family and home. She enjoyed reading, crocheting afghans, table cloths and a variety of miscellaneous crafts. She also enjoyed all kinds of games, occasionally even slots and scratch tickets. She enjoyed flowers (especially her roses) and birds. Veta worked for the Bell System in several states and retired from Quest in Casper.

Veta Jo was born to Gale F. Smith and Loretta (Wentz) Smith in Midwest, Wyoming. She grew up in Dubois, Wyoming.

Veta Jo is survived by her husband, buddy, and best friend, LeRoy, sons Steven, Mark, Craig and David; daughters Cheryl and Marlene and all their spouses; her mother, Loretta; sisters Bonna and Vonna; 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gale; brother, Ronald; daughter, Penny; grand-daughter; Samantha; Father and Mother-in-Law, T. L. "Roy" and Iva McCully; brother-in-law, Bud Hehnke; and step-son, Terry.

She will be greatly missed by all family and friends.
