CASPER -- Graveside services for Vera Hazel Judge,94, will be at 1:30 p.m. today, Sept. 23, 2008, in Highland Cemetery.
She was born on Feb. 11, 1914, in Verdigre, Neb., to Elmer and Mathida (Thompson) Halverson.
She was baptized at First Christian Church in Casper, on May 27, 1956. She Graduated from Creighton High School in 1930.
On March 24, 1950 she married Homer Blair Judge at the First Christian Church in Casper.
They lived in Casper until 1974, when she retired from Praire Publishing Company after 21 years.
She and her husband moved to Milton-Freewater.
In 1979, they moved to Walport, Ore. After her husband's death she moved to Neligh, Neb.
She loved to read and working on crossword puzzles and her family.
She is survived by her sister, Eva McGee of Neligh, Neb.; and a sister- in-law, Alyce Halverson of Center, Neb.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Blair; brother, Ivan Halverson; sisters, Evelyn Whitaker, Irene Porter, Ruth Halverson, LaRayne Halverson; two nephews and one niece.
