Vera Jo Binfet, 71, of Casper, Wyoming passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 after a prolonged illness. Vera was born on June 21, 1949 in Denver, Colorado to Curtis and Vera Westbrook. Vera moved to Wyoming as a young child. She graduated in 1967 from Natrona County High School. After high school she married Forest Lee and together they had three children, James, Dana, and Rachel. Later they divorced and she met and married Randy Binfet in June of 1997, she then became a step mother to Yvette, Mechelle and Corey.
Vera loved her husband Randy, her family, and grandkids. Vera, being a true mom, was the ultimate caregiver and was always watching over her family. Vera enjoyed her garden and trips in the motor home especially with her dog, Rainbow.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Zella (Zenker) Moore and Linda (Wedstbrook) Gripon.
Vera is survived by her husband, Randy J. Binfet; Children, James (Ashley) Lee, Dana (Scott) Wirtz, Rachel Lee; stepchildren, Yvette (Randy) Park, Mechelle (Mike) Ehlers, and Corey Binfet; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. She is also survived by her sisters, Rose McGuire, Joyce (Alan) Steinsnider and Wanda (Mike) Minard; brothers, Richard Zenker, Warren (Dorris) Westbrook and David Kersting; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00PM, Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Newcomer Casper Chapel. An inurnment will take place later in the summer.
