Thomas "Tom" Sneddon was born on January 22, 1945 in Rock Springs WY, to Bill & Liz Oleffe Sneddon. He passed away peacefully at home on May 18, 2014.
He went to school in Rock Springs until 1954 then family moved to Carson, CA where he graduated from Banning High School in 1964. After high school he worked for Babyline Furniture for several years. In 1969 he married Dottie Ferrante; they had one child a daughter Samantha Lynn. In 1972 they were divorced and he moved to Hugo OK, where he met Nadine Wilkins they worked odd jobs for several years. Then he worked for City of Hugo, OK in Maintenance Dept. and for awhile as a dog catcher. In 2007 Tom retired from the City. Tom and Nadine Wilkins married December 25, 1999. Nadine went into a nursing home in 2010 at that time Tom retired and moved to Evansville WY to be closer to his daughter and 3 grandchildren. While living in Evansville with his daughter and grandkids he did odd jobs for friends and family.
He loved drinking his coffee and smoking his pipe, camping, going 4 wheeling, fishing, working around the house, and helping with grandkids. Many who knew him knew he developed a new best friend with Gus. Those that didn't know him well: Gus is Elgin' & Sami's English Mastiff dog that he took care of while they worked.
Tom is preceded in death by both parents and three older brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Nadine Wilkins of DeQueen AR; one sister, Liz Large of CO; Daughter, Samantha Bryant; three grandchildren of Evansville WY; and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Tom will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday May 27, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
