Tina Marie Waters

December 16, 1962 — August 26, 2024

Casper, Wyoming

Tina Marie Waters, age 61, a vibrant spirit and beloved mother, passed away on August 26, 2024 in her hometown of Casper, Wyoming. Born on December 16, 1962, Tina lived a life full of laughter, charm, and an undeniable zest that left a remarkable impression on all who knew her.

For years, Tina brought her infectious humor and magnetic personality to KGWC and KFNB TV, where she proudly served as a Sales Manager, for 15 years. She distinguished herself as the number one monthly sales executive for 22 months over a two-year period, a testament to her passion and drive. Eventually the contest was discontinued because everyone knew who was going to win. Such prowess in her career was not merely a professional achievement but a source of immense pride.

Tina's life was not just about work; it was filled with cherished memories and hobbies that reflected her larger-than-life presence. She relished in playful adventures, from Hawaiian vacations with Fox TV stars and network executives to excursions that often found her creatively dumpster diving in search of unique treasures. One could always find her with a keen eye for exquisite finds, a twinkle of mischief in her smile, and unwavering love for her adored Chihuahuas. She had an addiction to shopping, credit cards and sticking her husband with the bills, "until banks do us part". She also enjoyed crocheting, riding motorcycles, and getting her nails done.

Her home was a sanctuary filled with warmth, laughter, and the tantalizing scent of her questionable cinnamon rolls—though friends knew she was more adept at making bread and hammering out glass candy.

A devoted mother - especially to her son, "Markie," whom she lovingly referred to as her “Golden Child - her greatest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren. Tina did her duty in making sure Casper was fully populated by bringing 12 children and grandchildren into the World. She treasured her relationship with Mark, her biggest supporter, as well as the bonds she shared with her daughters, Lacey Hancock (Tyson Peterson) and Brandi (Kyle) Mills, as well as her sons, Charles “Markie” Nalbone (Bryn Gabrielson) and K.C. Hancock. Her heart overflowed with joy for her grandchildren: Shelbee, Kaylee, Bradlee, Damien, Devin, Dayton, Kameron, Laila, and Kamdyn. It was her pure delight to spoil them with sweet treats, particularly the packaging of sugary snacks that filled their days with giggles and fun.

Tina's love extended to her family, including her sister Mary, and brother, Gail. In her passing, she leaves behind a legacy of laughter and adventure, one that will resonate through the heartfelt memories of her loved ones.

Though Tina's parents and a brother, Charles Waters, have preceded her in death, the light she radiated remains in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Her life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments that will be cherished forever. As we remember Tina Marie Waters, we celebrate her boundless spirit, her fierce dedication to family, and the joy she brought into our lives, leaving behind an echo of laughter that will never fade.
