Timothy John Urfer, age 48, of Sheridan drowned in Alcova Lake near Casper, WY on September 7th, 2019. Tim was born on July 12, 1971 to Theresa and Harvey Urfer in Monroe, WI. He attended grade school in Hollandale and Lancaster, high school at Wisconsin Academy in Columbus, WI. Upon graduation Tim moved to Sheridan, Wyoming, where he spent most of his life, working in the construction trade and operating his business, Tim Urfer Carpentry. Tim was a meticulous craftsman.
Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing, bicycling, motorcycling, hiking, skiing, repairing old vehicles, and playing his guitar. He had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed seeing the world from the seat of his motorcycle.
Tim loved his family and friends without judgment. He was accepting, compassionate, and loyal. He never failed to reach out to check on his people, always a phone call or in person, rarely a text. Tim wanted those close to him to know that he cared about them and was there supporting them no matter what was happening.
