Thomas E. Ross

Thomas Edward Ross was born December 1st 1934 in Lusk, WY. He was the 4th of 7 children born to Henry Roscoe And Veda Overacre Ross. He was raised on the family ranch in Lance Creek and attend a country school there and later attended school in Lusk. After his mother Veda died in 1951 he attended the school of the Ozarks in Branson MO and worked in the dairy at the school. He returned to Lance Creek and graduated from Niobrara county high school. He attended a couple of years at Casper College. After college he got a job at Pacific Power and Light and only worked a short time before being drafted into the army. After his honorable discharge he returned to Casper and PP&L. He married Charline Alta Hoffman in 1965 and they had 4 children. He worked for PP&L until his retirement at 62. He enjoyed hunting, woodworking, spending time with his grandkids. Nothing gave him more pleasure than giving and watching people enjoy things that he had made. He enjoyed shopping and finding bargains that he then donated to Joshua storehouse and to his daughter in law Valerie's special education class. He was a member of the Elks Club for over 50 years. He was raised as a Master Mason 1984 in Pathfinder Lodge #42 in Casper.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Charline. His children Michael Ross of Casper, Tammy smith and spouse Tom Smith of Thermopolis, Timothy Ross and spouse Valerie Ross of Rawlins, Teena Bland and spouse Scott Bland of Casper. Grandchildren Kaylee Langager and spouse Sam Langager of Roberts MT, Shawn Smith of Thermopolis Joshua Bland of Casper, Jennifer Blanda and spouse Michael Blanda of Severance CO, Bryony Ross, Hayden Ross, and Alex Carpenter of Rawlins. Great grand children Cato, Bryson, Maci Langager of Roberts MT, and Ryan and Allison Blanda of Severence CO and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Henry and Veda Ross and his siblings Jane Manning, Mary Dickau, Marvin Ross, Riley Ross, John Ross, and Emma Ross.
