Thomas 'Tom' Michael Moore
CASPER -- Funeral services for Thomas "Tom" Michael Moore, 73, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, at Newcomer Family Funeral Home with Eldon Raye officiating.
He died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006, at Central Wyoming Hospice Home.
He was born June 4, 1933, in Hill City, Kan., the son of Mike and Reva (Teter) Moore. He graduated from Hill City High School in 1951.
He joined the U.S. Air Force.
On March 14, 1954, he married Ivalee June Mapes in Norton, Kan. and they were happily married for 42 years. Four children were born to this union. In 1974 the family moved from Broadus, Mont. to Shirley Basin where he worked as a welder/supervisor at Pathfinder Mines, until the early 1990s when he retired.
He enjoyed being with his family, fishing with his cousin Ron Moore, hunting, wood working, and long-winded stories.
Survivors include daughters, Beverly Hobbs and her husband and Rhonda Beeson and her husband; son, Michael Moore and his wife; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his special friend, Sue Doyle.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in 1996; daughter, Sandy Junk; and grandson, Jeremiah.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Casper Humane Society, 849 E. E St., Casper, 82601, or to Central Wyoming Hospice Program, 319 S. Wilson, Casper, 82601.
Newcomer Family Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
