Thomas Lankford

Thomas S. Lankford, age 98, of Casper, passed away February 17, 2016 at Poplar Living Center. Thomas was born July 14, 1917 in Billings, MT to Raymond and Eva (Borders) Lankford. In the 40's, Thomas started his own business hauling freight with a single truck. One obstacle he overcame in life was a broken arm that was not set correctly. Thomas had a great sense of humor and was fondly known as "Mr. Wisenheimer" and well-known for telling jokes. Tom was also regarded a keen business man, widely known as the owner of the Butane and Propane Power and Equipment Company in Casper, WY.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was also preceded in death by his loving girlfriend, Eva Trenholm, of 50 years, and his two brothers, Raymond and Wilbur.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Ceremony will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, February 23, 2016 for Thomas S. Lankford, 98 of Casper, at Newcomer Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Wyoming Memorial Gardens in Casper.
