Tessa and Vera Dell were descendants of Betsy Ross that made the first American flag. Tessa graduated from Ewing High School in Ewing, Nebraska and went on to complete her RN Degree at Nicholas Senn Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. Tessa wanted to see Wyoming and moved to Douglas, Wyoming working as a nanny for a short while then moved to Casper in 1933. Howard worked for and retired from the former Chicago Northwestern Railroad in Casper. They returned to the United States and their beloved Casper in 1941 and she continued nursing at Natrona County Memorial Hospital part time.
