Suzanne Marie Kountz DiVita passed away peacefully in her home on October 22, 2022, in Casper, Wyoming after a lengthy illness.
She was welcomed into her family on her mother's birthday on December 22, 1965, the daughter of Francis Kountz and Jill Kountz in Casper, where she resided most of her life.
She was the fourth child in the family of five children, and attended Grant school, Kelly Walsh High school and Northwest Community College in Powell, Wyoming, majoring in Graphic Design. She was a member of the Kelly Walsh swim team and spent several years teaching in the Aquatics field. She worked in the food industry for many years and worked for Staples in Casper for seven years .
Suzie's biggest delight in her life was her three wonderful children and their families.
Suzie is survived by children Curtis (Amanda) DiVita, James Robert (Willow) DiVita, Emily Suzanne DiVita; her parents Frank and Jill Kountz; brother Steven Kountz; sisters Rebecca Galles and Barbie (Shayne) Kountz Jonas; seven grandchildren Sonny, Oliver, Christopher, Marley, Elliott, Jerymyah, and Taleena; two great grandchildren Braxton and Amelia and her best friend, James Sloan. Preceding her in death are her brother Jerry Lee Kountz and brother-in-law Donald Galles.
Cremation is planned. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions710 E. Second Street, Casper, WY 82601.
