CASPER -- Services for Casper native Sueysan "Sue" Marion Peterson, 57, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 1, 2008, at Faith Bible Chapel with Pastor Dale Fitzsimmons officiating.
Viewing: is 4 to 8 p.m., today at Newcomer Family Funeral Home.
She died Feb. 26, 2008, in Rapid City, S.D.
She was born Aug. 26, 1950, in Casper, the daughter of Herb Abeyta and Sueysan Marion RedHawk.
She attended Casper schools and Beauty School of Fashion in Casper. Most of her career she worked at Regis Salon in the Eastridge Mall.
She raised three children and enjoyed time with her daughter and grandchildren, long walks and her pets.
She met the man of her dreams, Mike Peterson during Christmastime of 2002 and they were married Sept. 30, 2003.
They traveled vending at Pow Wows around the country from Wyoming to Wisconsin, South Dakota to Arizona and established a summer gift store in Hill City, S.D., and a full-time store in the mall in Pierre, SD.
She enjoyed time with children and grandchildren in Casper and the Peterson family. She had a laugh that filled everyone's heart with joy and will leave a tremendous hole in the lives of all she came in contact with.
Survivors include her husband of Hill City, S.D.; a daughter, Christina Armstrong of Casper; two sons, Leonard Sierra Jr., of Casper and David Sierra of Storm Lake, Iowa; six sisters, Mona Gonzalez, Margie Abeyta, Linda Treto, Tina Treto, all of Casper,
Peggy Cervantez of Gillette and Dena Rassmussen; two brothers, Wilbur Abeyta and Gilbert Abeyta, both of Casper; 11
grandchildren; two stepsons, Chad Peterson of Milbank, S.D., and Cory Peterson of Madison Wis., and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, one brother, and her stepmother.
Memorials may be made to the Crazy Horse Memorial, Chiefs Ave., Crazy Horse, S.D., in her memory.
