Alma "Sue" Paull, age 81, of Bar Nunn, entered the gates of heaven on August 12, 2021 at Wyoming Medical Center from congestive heart failure. She passed peacefully with her family by her side.
Sue was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on November 18, 1939 to Raymond and Emma Belle Wimp. Her family relocated to Casper, Wyoming in 1958. She married Keith F. Paull on January 10, 1960.
Together they had 3 children, whom they raised in Casper, Wyoming. Her husband Keith suffered a traumatic brain injury in 1976; and he was taken great care of by his loving wife Sue, up until his death in 2004. Despite the many hardships that come along with caring for someone with a brain injury, they made the most of their marriage.
Sue was employed as a supervisor for the Casper Department of Family Services. She took pride in her work and was awarded for several achievements up until her retirement after 20 years of service.
Sue loved playing pinochle online and formed a large community of friends, known by many as "Queenie". She always had a bright set of painted nails and enjoyed getting pedicures. She loved cooking homemade dishes for friends and family, and was famous for her fudge, which she shared generously throughout the community during Christmas. She was a "dog-mom" to her best friend Blake, who was just plain spoiled. Sue had a larger than life personality, a witty sense of humor and gave the best hugs. She loved big and was an active part of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren's lives. She will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
She is survived by her sister, Pat Barnes of Surprise AZ, brother, Max (LouAnn) Wimp of Rapid City SD, and her 3 children Leanne
(Rodger) Silva, Kara Monpas (Phil Lopez), and Steve (Rita) Paull all from Casper. She is also survived by her 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, who all, were the light of her life. Lifelong friends Roy Dvarshkis and Lavina Jackson. And last, but not least, her companion and best friend, Blake the shihtzu.
We also want to say a special thank you to the Busch Family for all of the help during difficult times and for taking Sue's precious dog, Blake.
She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond & Emma Belle Wimp, her husband Keith Paull, her sister Bevie Kuykendall,
brothers Carroll Wells & John Wimp. Her grandsons William and Travis Spint.
