Stella J. Lofink

Stella Jane Lofink, age 91, of Casper, passed away March 1, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. Stella was born February 9, 1927 in Mills, NE to Clinton and Mary (Patton) DeWitt. She worked at the Casper Air Base from 1941 to 1945 and after that she worked at JM Boswick & Son for 27 years before retiring. Stella enjoyed collecting dolls, playing Rummy and Backgammon, genealogy, fishing and traveling with her family.

In addition to her parents, Stella was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, George Lofink, brother William DeWitt, sister Edna Avery and infant brother Thomas Paul DeWitt and infant sister Hattie Pauline DeWitt. She is survived by her daughters, Lynol Solberg, Deborah Heald, Marlene Fink and son Dusty Harshfield, sisters Nancy Doros and Mary Fern Rhodus, 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests Monday, March 5, 2018 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Casper, 710 East Second Street. Funeral Services will begin Monday at 11:00 am. in the funeral home. Burial will occur at 1:00 pm at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville on Monday, March 5, 2018.
