Shirley Ann Woolson, age 75, of Casper, passed away peacefully on February 29, 2016 at Central Wyoming Hospice. Shirley was born January 13, 1941 in Camden, SC to Ernest and Addie (Gardner) West. Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She never met a stranger and was a friend to all. She enjoyed caring for all of her family and friends and was active in her children's activities. She participated in Bible study groups, enjoyed gardening and shopping at thrift stores. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and was active in their prayer chain.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was also preceded in death by her brother Junior West and sister Mildred (West) Rush. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Glenn Howard Woolson, daughter, Jennifer (Nick) Fullerton, son, J.R. (Janie) Woolson, grandchildren; Ian Fullerton, Jacobie Fullerton, Rylie Woolson, Clara Fullerton, Sadie Woolson, Sydney Woolson and Scarlet Woolson, niece Donna (Bill) Campbell, great niece Jeri Lynn Rabon, great great nephews Aaron (Faye) Solis and Jerome Solis and several faithful canine companions.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 51 Primrose St, Casper, WY 82604 with fellowship to follow. Inurnment will take place at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice and the Alzheimer's Support Group in Shirley's memory.
