Shirley Jean Schossow, 67, of Mills, passed away October 7, 2015 at home.
She was born December 13, 1947 in Richardton, North Dakota, the daughter of Chester and Agatha (Rasch) Schossow. She worked at First Steps Daycare, caring for children for over 13 years, where she was known as "Shirley Girl" and later worked at A Cuppa Joe, serving her favorite beverage, coffee. Shirley was an avid Elvis Presley fan since early childhood. Her bedroom was an Elvis shrine. Shirley mostly enjoyed people in her life. She loved everyone and remembered your name even if she only met you once. No one was a stranger. She always had a joke, a smile or a hug for you.
Shirley is survived by her mother, Agatha; sister, June Skipper (Jason Hart); brother, Charles (Jodie) Schossow; nephews, Dempsey Patrick and Jeremiah (Dawn) Schossow; nieces, Sabrina Schossow and Lindsie (Dustin) Slaymaker, 5 great nieces and 3 great nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Chester Schossow and her sister, Brenda Schossow.

A memorial service for Shirley will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 51 Primrose Street (Paradise Valley), Friday October 16, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.
A celebration of Shirley's life will be held at a later date where the family hopes that anyone that has been a part of Shirley's life will attend.
