Sherry Ann Teres Leman, 63, died December 24, 2008 at Shepherd of the Valley Care Center. She was born on October, 28 1945 in Denver, Colorado. Sherry worked for MaryKnoll in Denver in the clerical department. She married Thomas Leman at St Anne's Catholic Church in Arvada, CO on August 3rd 1968. They moved to the Leman family ranch in Douglas, WY where they raised their three boys. They remained on the ranch until August of 1983 when they moved to Casper. She was an avid horse lover her favorite being a horse named Comanche. Sherry was a member of the Chinook Drill Team and was a volunteer with mentally and physically disabled on horse back. She was an active member of St Anthony Catholic Church and active at St Anthony School during her sons' attendance. She loved to travel abroad. She will deeply missed by all.
Survived by husband of 40 years, Tom; three sons, John (Gigi) of Douglas WY, Ed of Seattle, WA, and Robert Casper, WY; grandson Liam of Douglas, WY; father and mother Charles and Margaret Johnson of Casper, WY; sister Diane Carmen (Sandy) of Fredericksburg, VA.
A rosary will be said tonight December 29, 2008 at 4 PM in Newcomer Funeral Home. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday December 30 at 10 AM in St Anthony Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Douglas Cemetery.
