Sheri Walker

CASPER -- Sheri Lynn Walker died Sept. 29, 2008, at her home surrounded by her loved ones after a courageous fight with Synoval Cell Sarcoma Cancer and now awaits a resurrection to a paradise earth.

Sheri was born Sept. 15, 1956, to Charles Enoch Keller and Evelyn June Wallace in Everett, Washington.

On March 20, 1976, she married Chris Duane Walker in Marysville Washington. In 1981 they moved their family to Wyoming.

Sheri was a very active and faithful Jehovah's Witness, and enjoyed sharing her time and hopes with others. She loved spending time with her loved ones and her extended spiritual family, showing hospitality and cooking for anyone. Sheri became a second mom and friend to many and was loved by all. She was an excellent example of a capable wife and a wonderful mother to her five children, her day was always brightened by her son in law Scott.

Sheri was an advocate for NAMI National Alliance on Mental Illness and taught the Family to Family class. Her mild 'OCD' caused her house to be immaculate and made her a valued house keeper for others.

In her final years she found a new interest in watercolor painting and crocheting and a new love of nature.

Her immense appreciation for all of the loving help shown to her and her family through out her illness could not be expressed personally to everyone that had helped.

Sheri is survived by her husband Chris Walker of 32 1/2 years. Her sons Jared and Jesse Walker both of Casper. Her daughters Jane (Scott) Sterrett and Jalyn Walker both of Casper and Jamie Rivera of Texas. Her sister Teri (Bill) Walker of Casper and Chuck (Lori) Keller of Mulketeo Washington. Numerous nieces, nephews and in laws that loved her.

She is preceded in death by her Mother Evelyn June Wallace, her father Charles Enoch Keller, and her step mother Betty Keller.

A memorial service will be held October 10th, 2008 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness' with Br. Scott Zagrabelney officiating. A carry in luncheon will be held after the services at the Park Way Plaza.

Memorials may be made in c/o Sheri Walker to The Westridge Congregation of Jehovah's Witness' or to NAMI.
