Sharon Rae (Bratcher) Tschacher, age 81, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025, after a courageous battle with progressive Alzheimer’s disease. She was born on February 2, 1944, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the middle child of three to John L. Bratcher and Sarah Louise (Johnston) Bratcher.
Sharon spent her childhood in Oklahoma City and graduated from Harding High School, Class of 1962. She married Cody Munsell that same year, and together they were blessed with four children: Mark, Patrick, Sam, and Teresa. In 1972, Sharon moved to Wyoming and embarked on a long, fulfilling career which included positions at Hilltop National Bank, Anchor Enterprises, and Eagle Welding Supply.
It was at Anchor Enterprises that Sharon met the love of her life, Jim Tschacher. They began dating in 1978, married on March 24, 1979, and soon founded T&T Welding Services, Inc. in 1979. Sharon served as the dedicated bookkeeper for their successful business, which later became T&T Contract Services in the early 2000s.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Sharon’s life revolved around her family. She loved tending to her magnificent flower gardens and was a passionate seamstress. She enjoyed sharing her craft creations in several local craft fairs. Whether traveling the country with Jim or spoiling her cherished grandchildren, Sharon’s warmth and care touched everyone around her.
Sharon is survived by her husband Jim Tschacher. She is also survived by her children:
She is further survived by her sister, Kathleen Smith, and nephew Greg Smith. Her brother’s children, Stacy (Chris) Dykstra, Chris (Jamie) Bratcher and Reagan Bratcher and their children who all loved her dearly. Sharon’s brothers- and sisters-in-law: Bill (Gail) Tschacher, Tim Tschacher, Steven Miller (Nick), and numerous loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, John L. Bratcher, her mother, Sarah Louise (Johnston) Bratcher, her brother, J. “Lynn” Bratcher, her father-in-law, William Joseph Tschacher Sr., her mother-in-law, Francis Irene Steinfeld, and sisters-in-law Mary Josaphine Redwine and Genia Tschacher. She also shared her life with many beloved animal companions who are undoubtedly welcoming her home.
A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held Saturday June 21, 2025 at the Casper Shrine Club 1501 West 39th Street, Casper, WY 82604 at 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
