Senaida (Sadie) Aborra Isbell, 82, entered into the everlasting arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2:15 p.m. in Casper, WY. She was born on April 10, 1935 in Costilla, NM to Aaron and Rose Arellano.
Sadie grew up in Costilla, NM where she graduated from Walsenburg High School in Costilla, NM in 1953. After high school she began to raise her family.
Sadie was a member of St. Anthony's Church and Casper Open Bible Church. She loved to pray and read the Bible. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed loving on her grandchildren, nephews and nieces and spending time with her family. Sadie is known as a very affectionate and loving mother and sister. She loved meeting new people, and around her there were no strangers. Sadie loved to embroider and paint. Sadie was best known for her humor; laughter was contagious after having a conversation with her.
Sadie worked at Youth Crisis Center for over a decade. Many of the youth she served were impacted by her love and care for them. Several of them would continue to visit her after her retirement.
Sadie was preceded in death by her parents Aaron and Rose Arellano; her brothers Tony and her sister Alice. Her first husband Andy Pulanco and second husband Tito Padilla.
Sadie married Gene Isbell on February 1, 1993 in Casper, WY. They both loved Jesus and were happily married for 20 years. Gene went on to be with the Lord in 2013.
Sadie is survived by her oldest son Richard Pulanco and his wife Debbie of Casper and their grandchildren Karleen, Constance (husband-Ryan) Ao, and Kharesse (husband Brad Jr.) Orr.
Sadie is also survived by her youngest son Phil (wife Elinda) Pulanco of Anchorage Alaska and her grandchildren Kimberly (husband Jason) Hartjen; Donny (wife Vicki) Pulanco and Chris Wolford; and eleven great grandchildren.
Sadie is survived by her oldest daughter Karen Kestrel from Denver, CO Due to tremendous hardship, Sadie was forced to give up her oldest daughter for adoption. It was a closed adoption and although she searched for her diligently she gave up all hope of finding her. However, God answered her prayers and she was united to her daughter Karen 59 years later. Karen and her children came as a beautiful gift from God before Sadie's passing four months later. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Emily Jackson, Lizzi Thornton; Robby Padilla; and Charles Padilla; and Christopher Kercher; and 10 great grandchildren.
Sadie is also survived by her youngest daughter, Sharon Lockwood (husband Mike); her granddaughter Priscilla Sherley (husband-Levi) and three great grandchildren.
Sadie is survived by her beloved stepdaughter, Niki Padilla Costalez and her two grandchildren-Jessica Costalez Galicia, Joseph Costalez and three grandchildren.
Sadie is also survived by her sisters Christine and Virginia and her brother John along with many nieces, nephews and family members too numerous to mention but she had great admiration and love for each and every one of them.
She will be missed but we believe we will have a wonderful reunion in heaven one day. We love you and were thankful to have you in our lives.
