Sally Martinez, age 75, of Casper, passed away September 10, 2020 at Wyoming Medical. Sally was born August 18, 1945 in Gallup, New Mexico to Samuel and Estella (Mibral) Salazar. She attended schools in Monticello, Utah and graduated from Monticello High School. She met the love of her life, Alfirio Martinez by mutual friends and married him on March 5, 1965 in Monticello. She worked as an advocate for underprivileged kids in Monticello. She relocated to Worland, Wyoming in 1979 due to her husband's transfer. In Worland, she worked as a special education teacher's aide for the majority of her career. She was a very devoted and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to play softball. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, and hunting with her husband.
In addition to her parents, Sally was also preceded in death by siblings, Richard, Earnest, Raymond, Rosalia, and Frankie Martinez. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Alfirio "Al" Martinez, son, Victor (Lyn) Martinez, son, Dewayne Martinez; grandchildren/Victor's children: Joey (Amanda) Martinez and their 4 kids, Michael (Robin) Martinez and their two kids, Bobby (Megan) Zieman and their three kids, Kimie (Nick) Zieman and one son, Lynzi, and Marcus Martinez; and grandchildren/Dewayne's children: Johnny Lee (Kalie), from Abileen, Texas and their 3 children, Adrien Martinez and his son, Austin Martinez, Andre, and Dayine, 14 great-grandchildren, Adrionna, Jayden, Aailiyah, Destini, Mackenzie, Maddi, Alyx, Haylie, Ayden, Dominik, Izaiah, Sophi, Daveiana, and Liam, and numerous nieces and nephews.
