To say that Ryan took the road less traveled would be a vast understatement. Ryan often went off road both figuratively and literally. Ryan approached life with gusto and bravado. Whether he was playing golf, hockey, football, soccer or riding bulls, four wheelers, snow boards, dirt bikes or skateboards people always knew where he was by the unstoppable energy he created. The only time Ryan stopped was after beating his mom at a game of Scrabble which lasted for three intense days leaving him the victor. He hung up his tiles after that match.
Ryan has walked away from more than a board game now. He has walked away from a life that was unbearably painful to him at times. He felt overwhelmed. He also found joy before his death. He had just visited his mom and played golf and went four wheeling in the mountains with his beautiful girlfriend. He ate great food and reminisced about many of his life adventures. He spoke with many of his friends and family members recently. He expressed his love and made plans for his future. He thanked people for their love, support and kindness. We can share our memories and stories with one another and in that way Ryan will live on in our hearts. Thank you for being a part of his life.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Casper Humane Society.
