Rozanna Jean Story (Weber) was 93 years old when she passed away peacefully on April 15, 2023. She was born November 1, 1929 to Dewey Leon Story & Treva Dicie Story (Sharer) in Casper, WY.
Rozanna married the love of her life, Burrel J. Weber, on Sept. 6, 1947, who pre-deceased her in 2011. Together they had (3) children, Terry who died as an infant, Leon & Linda who both survive her.
She was a homemaker who worked for a short time in a potato chip factory early in her adult life and at Woolworths earlier in her life soon after leaving school.
In addition to her two surviving children, Rozanna is survived by her two remaining sisters, Shirley Rose Story (Carsten) & Fonda June Story (Wyatt). As well as grandchildren, Jan Michelle Weber (Nelson), Laurie Ellen Tackett (Anderson), David James Tackett; Great grandchildren, Rachael Kelly Harper, Rozanna Don Harper (Taylor), Willow Anne Tackett, Noah Sweeney, Nash Nelson, Amy Nelson, & Ella Nelson; and great-great grandchild, Ellie Butler. Numerous nieces, nephews & great nieces & nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her parents, Dewey L. Story & Treva Dicie Story. Her siblings, Norma Mae Story (Weber), Donald Dewey Story, Jack Eugene Story, Wanda Marie Story (Lovelace), Lester Lewis Story, Wyoma (Judy) Jewel Story (Eckhart). As well as a granddaughter, Jaclyn Dawn Weber (Baker).
She had many friends at her beloved Church "The Fort Ministry" including but not limited to Pastor Jim & Kim Shade, Deborah Schiltz, Steven Shaffer, Matt Roark, Sue & Jim Burris & other numerous members & other regular attenders of the Nazarene church, "The Fort Ministry" located in Mills, WY.
She enjoyed doing word search books, watching TV especially the RFD channel on Saturday nights from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. She enjoyed going to church and seeing all her church family and friends. She always loved giving everyone big hugs and wide smiles.
When she was a child, she and some of her siblings enjoyed going to her grandfather's farm outside of Wheatland where they would go over to the neighbor's farm that belonged to John & Edith Weber. While they were visiting many numerous times at the neighbor's farm, they would play with the Weber children who were all very close to their own ages. During these visits Rozanna became very close to one of the Weber children, Burrel J. Weber, who was to become her future husband.
In her adult life she and her family enjoyed going to the family-owned mountain cabin on Casper Mountain. She and her family enjoyed spending many summer weekends with their extended family members at the cabin where they could enjoy the great outdoors, breathing in the fresh air and hiking all over the property and adjacent areas.
