He started working for the Union Pacific in the 1940s and retired in 1975
They lived in Hugo, Colorado most of their lives; they moved to Casper 1990 to be with their daughter.
He enjoyed being with his family, working in his yard, and tinkering in his garage
As a welder he also repaired and invented many things
