Life History: Rose was born in Questa, New Mexico on July 12, 1910 to Fedelia Medina and Samuel DeHerrera.
She attended school in Costilla, New Mexico/ Garcia, Colorado.
On February 16, 1927 she was married to Jose Aaron Arellano.
They lived in New Mexico until 1951, then moved to Casper, Wyoming where she resided until her death.
She worked at the Gladstone Hotel and Imperial400, retiring in 1975.
She was a member of St.Anthony's Catholic Church, the Bishops Guild,
and was a member of the Confradia Del Carmen in Costilla, New Mexico.
She loved to be around her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grand children.
She especailly loved their hugs and kisses. She looked forward to visits from family and friends.
She loved music and dancing and going to church and socializing with her friends.
She prayed her rosary all the time even when she was sick.
Survivors include five children, Alice Gonzalas, John B. Arellano. (Cecilia),
Sadie Isbell (Gene), Christine Arellano, and Virginia Arellano all from Casper.
Twenty grandchildren, forty five great grand children and forty-six great great grandchildren, a sister,
Louisa Martinez of Albuquerque, New Mexico and serveral nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Aaron and five children: Maria, Tony, Isbel,
Jose, an infant daughter. A brother, Arnold Trujillo, a grandson, Joe Gonzales, Jr. and two great grandsons:
Jesse and Adam Arellano.
