Rosalie R. Goff, 79 of Glenrock, Wyoming, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming. Rosalie was born on December 9, 1936 to Russell and Alice Pope in Des Moines, Iowa. Rosalie worked for over 30 years at Grant Elementary School in Glenrock as an administrative assistant. She served for seven years on the Glenrock Town Council. She was also a very active member of Christ Episcopal Church, and the Glenrock Senior Center, a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi, and a volunteer of the Deer Creek Museum. Rosalie enjoyed gardening and her time in the mountains with family. Her fondest times were her vacations visiting her family in Iowa.
She is survived by her sons, David Goff of Glenrock, and Kenneth (Katy) Goff of Tbilisi, The Republic of Georgia; granddaughter, Lisa Michele Goff; brothers, Wayne (June) Pope of Mason City, IA, Harold (Joan) Pope and Paul (Karen) Pope all of Jefferson, IA; sister, Mary Ann (John) Freeman of Holly, MI; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Rosalie is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lois Pope.
Visitation will be held 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Sunday, October 2, 2016, at Christ Episcopal Church, 415 West Cedar, Glenrock, Wyoming. A Funeral Service will be held, 10:00 AM, Monday, October 3, 2016 at the church. Interment will follow at the Glenrock Cemetery, Glenrock, Wyoming.
Memorials in her name may be made to the Glenrock Senior Center.
