Ronald D. Lappi
85, of Casper, WY passed away June 22, 2015 at Poplar Living Center in Casper.
He was born August 27, 1929 in Cook, Minnesota, the son of August and Irene (Kesanen) Lappi. He was raised and educated in Cook, MN until joining the US Army in 1948. After he was honorably discharge in 1952 and returned home to Minnesota. On November 1, 1953 he married Barbara Anderson in Virginia, MN. They moved to Butte, MT and he worked for the Anaconda Company and later Montana Resources. Ronald retired after 30 years of copper mining and worked at various odd jobs. He later moved to Babbitt, MN and then to Casper, WY where they resided until his death. His hobbies included fly-fishing and golf. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his Wife: Barbara J. Lappi; Three Daughters, Connie Lappi, Christine Lappi, Karen (Rod) Lappi; Three Sons, Jerry Lappi, Dale Lappi, Thomas Lappi; 10 Grandchildren; Numerous Great Grandchildren; Three Brothers, Gary Lappi, Bob Lappi, Howard (Linda) Lappi; Three Sisters, Verona (Keith) Christianson, Carolyn Lokken, Joan (Lowell) McDonald; and Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins including his cousin Doreen Lindahl. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Brother, Roger Lappi, Brother, Leslie Lappi, Brother, Vern Lappi, Brother, Kenny Lappi, Sister, Peggy Lappi, Sister, Viola Klemmer.
At his request, no services will be planned. Inurnment will be at Oregon Trail Veterans' Cemetery, Evansville, WY.
