Ron R. Henderson was born May 21, 1950, the oldest of five children to William F. Henderson and Hazel (Moon) Henderson in Lander, Wyoming.
The family moved to Casper, Wyoming in 1964, Ron graduated from Natrona County High School in 1969 and joined the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 193 in 1972.
Ron learned at an early age how to build most anything, if he saw it only once whether it be on TV or read about it in a book, he could build it. Anything he put his mind to he could build. His true passion in life was building or rebuilding firearms from black powder guns to hand carving the most professional gun and rifle stocks, his other passions were welding and rebuilding vintage automobiles.
As kids growing up Ron and his brother Dan liked to build hot rods and making something out of nothing and they always got the job done. In between working on their projects and getting on their mother's nerves with their mischievous ways, they spent plenty of time teaching and showing younger brother Steven everything they knew. Ron was always a big brother to his younger siblings and was always there to lend a helping hand.
As a younger man Ron loved hunting and camping and driving hot rods and an occasional beer or two.
Ron lived life to the fullest he passed away doing what he loved doing, working on one of his vintage vehicles. Ron was one of a kind. He will be loved and missed forever.
Ron is survived by his mother, Hazel Steffey of Casper, WY; brother, Dan and sister-in-law Donna Henderson of Glenrock, WY, sister, Lucille and brother-in-law Tim Sutherland of Casper, WY, brother, Steve and sister-in-law Nancy Henderson of Casper, WY, sister, Patricia and brother-in-law Carlos Diaz of Mesa, AZ; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
