MILLS -- Roger William Schroeder, 84, will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, at Sunrise Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Hans officiating. Interment will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
He died Jan. 11, 2008, in Casper.
He was born on March 30, 1923, in Warrens, Wis., the son of Albert August Herman Schroeder and Mary Elizabeth Densmore
He was raised on a farm until he moved to North Dakota as a carpenter for a farmer friend. He met Charlotte Dean Clark and married her on Dec. 15, 1954.
He worked as a roughneck in the oil field Industry, working and living in various locations throughout North Dakota and Montana. He and his family moved to Casper in 1970, where he finished out his life.
He is survived by his daughters, Cloetta Schroeder of Albuquerque, N.M., and Donnetta Gomes and husband of Queen Creek, Ariz.; brother, Richard Schroeder of Tomah, Wis.; sister, Rosella Richmond of Tomah, Wis.; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; brother, Robert Schroeder; and one grandchild.
