CASPER -- Service for Robert Joseph Warburton, 91, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Fr. August Koeune officiating.
He died Feb. 22, 2007, at Central Wyoming Hospice Home.
He was born Nov. 22, 1915, in Hanna, the son of William Warburton and Alice Ann Jackson.
He was raised in Hanna, where he and his wife, Matilda, lived and raised their family. They were married in Casper on Sept. 1, 1945.
He was in business in Elk Mountain and Hanna where he and his wife ran the famous Home Ranch.
He retired to spend time with his grandchildren, play golf and cheer on the Wyoming Cowboys.
During his life and in his death he took great pride in his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved by all, he will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his wife of Casper; two daughters, Alice Ann Koeneke of Rawlins and Susan McMurry and her husband of Casper; two sisters, Willetta McAtee of Laramie and Olive Brook of Goodyear, Ariz.; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Patricia Quigley and Trudy Wilson and a son, William Warburton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice, 319 S. Wilson, Casper, 82601; or The Child Development Center of Natrona County, 2020 E. 12th St., Casper, 82609.
Newcomer Family Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
