Our family is announcing the passing of our beloved Robert Padilla. Bob was born in Casper, Wyoming on September 27th 1947. He grew up in Shirley Basin / Medicine Bow, Wyoming. He slipped away in his home, surrounded by family, after succumbing to complications associated with a very recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. "Bob-O" - "Bobby" was a loving husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and a great friend to many. Bob loved his family, his friends and the Lord. He loved America- he proudly served his country in the Army and did 1-1/2 tours in Vietnam. He proudly displayed the American flag and the MIA/POW flag on his bike, his boat, his place at Alcova lake and at his home. Bob retired from the Sinclair oil refinery after working 36 years of shift work. Bob loved fishing, riding his Harley, lounging at the lake, concerts, camping, traveling and his beloved Wyoming Cowboys and Denver Broncos. We will miss his bear hugs and kisses on the cheek. We love you Bob-O!
He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Shelly Padilla, Son, Derek, daughter, Marisa, step-sons, Mike and Chad Dean, and 7 grandchildren.
