Robert "Bob" Maxwell, Jr.

Bob passed away on July 12 in Casper at the age of 86. He was born in Florida and graduated from Texas Western College with a Bachelor of Science in Geology. His career as a uranium geologist took him all over the world. Bob was an active member of Casper Kiwanis, the Tate Geological Museum, the Society of Mining Engineers, and the First United Methodist Church. Throughout his life he enjoyed spearfishing, skiing and hiking.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, and former wife, Pennye. He is survived by his three children, Rebecca (Jerry), Amy (Eric), and Jeff (Ariel), his sister, Ann (Ethan), his three grandchildren, Lauren, Kaitlyn (Michael), and Nicole; nieces, Tracy and Miki (Scott). The last 14 years of his life were enriched by his best friend, Gretchen.

The Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Monday, August 12, 2024 at First United Methodist Church, 302 E 2nd Street, Casper, WY 82601.
