Robert James Archuleta “Chief”, 69, of Casper, Wyoming passed away on Thursday, May 9th, 2024.
He was born to the late Lencho Archuleta and Carmen Lujan. He graduated from Rawlins High School in 1974. He married Sendy Thomas in 1973 and they lived in Rawlins, Wyoming, before they moved to Portland, OR, in 1992, then relocated to Casper, Wyoming in 2014.
Robert worked for the Union Pacific for over 18 years, then worked in the Automotive Industry for 20 plus years.
He was an active member of the Restoration Church of Casper, Wyoming.
His passion was hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife, Sendy Archuleta of 50 years, two children, Brandon (Janell) Archuleta, and Jessica (Ray) Watterson.
He is also survived by five grandchildren, Noah (Wendy) Archuleta, Kapri (Brandon), Archuleta, Kaurice (Chris) Blesse, Isis Watterson, and Aryez Watterson; four great-grandchildren, Kenedi Archuleta, Kade Archuleta, Aria Blesse, and Avayah Watterson. He is also survived by three brothers, Tony Archuleta, Greg Sanchez, Jimi Paulson, and one sister, Brenda Thomas.
Services will be held at Restoration Church of Casper, Wyoming on June 15th, 2024 at 11am and a Celebration of Life will be held at Washington Park following services at 1pm.
