Robert (Bob) H Ross met Sherry Ann Kulaski in Philipsburg, Montana and have been each other's light through not only life, but also in death since that day. The saying "Till death do us part" has been proven to be something Robert and Sherry took very seriously. Not even a day would they be without one another, even in their final moments. A love like they had moved mountains, and defied all odds. Robert and Sherry passed away together on January 17, 2021 after battling complications of Covid-19. The loving couple met after Bob moved back to Montana and started a new chapter in the Logging Truck and Service Industry. After meeting, it didn't take long for them to decide to spend eternity together. They married in the 1970's and the family grew as Bob's 2 children Cari and Kris were joined by Bob and Sherry's son Tim. In the late 70's Robert and Sherry moved to Gillette, Wyoming to be able to work with his brother Grady Ross on the Pipeline and had their second son Richard.
Sherry worked in housekeeping to help support her family, and was always home in time to greet her children after their days in school. Bob fell in love with his career and stuck with it until the end. Eventually the pipeline created a new opportunity for relocation, so they took on that adventure together. Sherry decided to then stay at home and spend her days nurturing and raising her children. She loved to teach her children about sports and enjoyed staying active with them and teaching them to ride bikes together. She supported her children's passions and encouraged them to follow their dreams no matter what. This was one of her greatest attributes; being a mother.
Things eventually led them back home to Gillette in the late 80's. They lived their life together happily and Bob eventually retired. They decided to move to Casper, Wyoming with their youngest son Richard. Later on they made the decision together to both move into Garden Square Assisted Living. Bob and Sherry loved it there. Bob often times would be found messing with the CNA's and teasing just about anyone within earshot. Throughout their time there, Sherry faced many medical issues. They never gave up though. Bob would always be by her side doing anything possible to bring her any peace and joy he could. He always wanted to be helpful to his loving wife. With that love, they shared many wonderful memories with their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Their legacy will continue through the family through cherished moments and stories that will be passed down for generations to come. As we look back and remember these fond moments of Sherry and Bob, let us not forget Sherry's love. The love she had for her children and grandchildren and the bonds she made with each one of them. She loved to spoil them and show her love by always encouraging them to chase their dreams. The time and care she gave to every single person she met. Her love for animals, especially her kitties. Sherry's tougher than nails character she got through her brothers. The laughs Sherry and Bob shared with each other and us. Let us remember Bob's humor and how he could always find joy in any situation. Let us remember their love, for it was unchanging.
