Riley Thomas Powers, 64, of Casper and formerly of Grass Valley, CA passed away at his home Feb. 16, 2011.
He was born Feb. 19, 1946, the son of Frederick Powers and Mary "Elliott" Powers-Haner. He was a graduate of Nevada Union High School in 1965 in Grass Valley, CA. He was a member of E. Clampus Vitus in Grass Valley, CA.
Survivors include three sisters, Sherrill Scott of Casper, Jerrie Smith of Sonora, CA and Maureen Takeuchi of Columbus, MT, one brother, Kelly Powers of McDermitt, NV, numerous nieces and nephews, Melissa Scott, Kirsten Berry, Kathryn Scott, Brian Scott, Kim Robbins, Tina Jensen, Harley Powers, Jason Smith, Shannon Smith,Kerri Goss, Kevin Takeuchi and Stacey Silva, and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and by one sister.
No services are planned, arrangements under the direction of Newcomer Funeral Home, Casper, WY.
